Dunbar Creek Project
Dunbar Creek is a premiere
freestone fly fishing
stream, located in the
Laurel Highlands of south
western Pennsylvania,
between Connellsville and
Uniontown, PA. Dunbar is an
exceptional example of
stream restoration and
protection, through the
efforts of multiple
volunteer, commercial and
government agencies,
Including Chestnut Ridge
Trout Unlimited, Dunbar
Sportsman's Club, The
Pennsylvania Game Commission
and others. The Dunbar Creek
Project is the webs largest
environmental tour site,
with over 4000 photos, many
with descriptions of most of
the Dunbar Watershed.
It includes descriptions of
stream structure of popular
areas. Dunbar Creek includes
a four mile long Fly Fishing
Only Project, with water
suitable for every skill
level. Easy access is
provided. Maps and
directions are
available on the site.
French Creek Project
Our mission is to educate
our members in the art and
science of fly fishing and
fly tying and to conserve
and restore the trout
fishery of
French Creek in southeastern Pennsylvania.
Lehigh Coldwater Fishery
Alliance
Our
mission is to obtain a
consistent release of
coldwater (55 Deg F) from
the Francis E Walter
Reservoir (FEW) through
better utilization of FEW�s
storage capacity and
discharge options, in an
effort to improve overall
flows, protect habitat and
enhance the Lehigh River�s
wild trout fishery.
Pennsylvania Council of
Trout Unlimited
The goal of the PA State
Council of TU is to
conserve, restore and
enhance Pennsylvania's cold
water streams and fisheries,
specifically our wild trout
resources. Council supports
and coordinates the
activities of the 54 TU
chapters in the
Commonwealth. We restore
streams through habitat
improvement projects,
conduct seminars on water
quality and fisheries
management and work to
educate the next generation
about the importance of
clean water and wild trout

We're a 6000-strong membership-supported organization based in San Francisco with regional field offices throughout the state. Seminars are held on fly casting, fly tying, rod building and fishing at the Angler's Lodge & Casting Pools. International Women Fly Fishers Mount Tamalpais Fly Fishers is a fly fishing club based in Marin County. Our goal is to bring together fly anglers to share knowledge, experiences, information, and fun times. We gather for various activities including monthly meetings, regular fishing trips, casting, and occasional casual dinners or barbecues. The monthly meetings often feature guest speakers and include fly tying, equipment and technique discussions, and fishing reports from other members. Our members span all levels of skill, from beginner to veteran, and we are looking for more. Napa Valley Fly Fishermen The Napa Valley Fly Fishermen were formed in 1970 by a group of local fishermen who were interested in promoting the art of angling with an artificial fly, passing on knowledge of this art to fellow anglers and conserving and enhancing the quality of our California Fisheries. North Bay Chapter -- Trout Unlimited Trout Unlimited is the largest coldwater conservation group in the U.S. with over 120,000 members nationwide. We have 13,000 members in California. The North Bay Chapter of TU is the local entitiy for the San Francisco Bay area. Northern California Council Federation of Fly Fishers Northern California Fly Fishing Board Pacific Rivers Council Our mission is to protect and restore rivers, their watersheds, and native aquatic species. Advocating a whole watershed approach to land management, PRC fills a unique niche in the conservation community. Our collaboration with scientific and academic communities is bridging the gap between aquatic science and environmental policy. Our headquarters are in Eugene, OR and we have satellite offices in Portland, OR and Polson, MT. Peninsula Fly Fishers of Northern California San Diego Fly Fishers Welcome to the website of the San Diego Fly Fishers club: One of the Federation of Fly Fishers' largest chapters! The San Diego Fly Fishers club promotes the sport of fishing with a fly rod through education and conservation. Everyone is welcome: families, singles, men, women, youngsters and oldsters! San Diego Trout an association of members of the angling and conservation communities, seeking to perpetuate the genetics of the world's original rainbow trout, and so, angling opportunities in the waters in which they evolved. Santa Cruz Fly Fishermen The Santa Cruz Fly Fishermen began as a small group of fly fishers, mainly steelhead fishers and one or two salt water fishers, gathering together on the banks of the San Lorenzo River, sharing tips, tales, and other fishing lore, and had its formal roots at Ernie's Casting Pond, a local fly shop in Santa Cruz. The club has grown to over 150 members, and has ongoing classes in fly tying, fly casting, and rod building. They meet on the first Thursday of every month, at 7:00 PM, at the Soquel Grange, 2800 Porter St., Soquel, Calif., and feature speakers and programs from all over the state, presenting slides and speaking on a wide range of subjects relating to fly fishing, such as entomology, conservation, hot fishing spots, techniques, all to broaden the fly fishing experience.
